August was a really slow art month for me. So slow in fact, all of these drawings were started in other months and finished in August.

Please excuse my gratuitous Japanese. I'm pretty sure fuwa fuwa means fluffy, and I wanted todays outfit to have a fluffy feel to it. I was going to add more pink and sparkly stuff, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Today's outfit is actually pretty plain.
Headbow- Rococo soul

I've been looking forward to this episode, because it's the one where Renge is introduced! I hope she's a recurring character like in the anime, as a opposed to the one-time character she is in the manga. The first scene with Renge in it shows her playing video games in her house, wearing an adorable loli-esque outfit. That headbow looks like innocent world to me, but I couldn't find it on IW's website. I really like Renge's outfit in the first scene! I hope we get to see more of her outside of her school uniform.
Then Renge finds the host club and starts fawning over Kyoya, and being critical of everyone else. And then Tamaki gets KO'd by Renge's harsh words. This happens every episode, but at this point it's still entertaining. By the end of the drama I'll probably be extremely tired of this. I'm really liking the club's Japanese theme this week BTW.
The main difference between this episode of the drama and it's partner in the anime/manga, is that in this version Kyoya is actually (fake) nice to Renge, which makes her seem less stupid for being led on by him. Then she and Haruhi have a really cute cooking scene, in which you find out that Kyoya has made copies of all the keys in the school. I really wish I had a friend with copies of all the schools keys!
Then Nekozawa makes his regularly scheduled pointless entrance, and Renge decides to change the host's characters to have more "shadows." Then the club makes a movie, with a crew of white guys! I really wish I had gotten a screenshot of the white crew, but I'm too lazy to go back and get one. I'm not going to spoil the ending, but needless to say, Renge discovers Kyoya's true colors. Then she loses her picture of her favorite Toki-Meki Memorial character, and the club goes to find it together to prove that they're all friends, yay!
Overall I'd give this episode a 3/4, I really liked Renge and the little movie they made, but the ending was cheesy and stupid, also this episode gets bonus points because they didn't CG hunny!

So I just saw the ouran HSHC drama, here are my thoughts on it. I've read the manga and seen the anime. I definiately prefer the anime to the manga or drama but here are my thoughts on the drama:
So first I'll list the positives of this drama. I really liked how there was a lot more nekozawa in the Drama, I think Nekozawa needs more love! I also think they picked the perfect actress for Haruhi. When I first saw her I thought wow she looks so derpy, isn't Haruhi supposed to make a handsome guy? I was very pleased with her transformation! I also really liked the twins, less because of the mischevious gay twins thing, and more because they kind of remind me of some people I go to school with. The drama is very different from the manga and anime, but I like all the changes ^^ Especially the new uniform!
And now for the negatives! I didn't really like the actor that played Tamaki. His acting was fine, but he just looked wierd. I know that's shallow, but I just couldn't stand it! Maybe if he did something with his hair... I also hated hunny in this version, which sucks because Hunny was my favorite character in the Anime. I also wished that the bitchy girl, whose name I don't remember, would have been more bitchy. In the anime, she was so bitchy she got herself kicked out of the Host Club, which didn't happen in the drama. I kind of hope she becomes a returning character tho ^^
Overall, I give this drama a 3/5. I'm not really into drama's so I'm definately no expert ^^ This is only the 2nd Japanese drama I've seen. Also it's a really good show for shirtless guys :P
Fun fact, I actually wrote this review a while ago, but I didn't post it on my blog. I've seen episodes 2,3 and 4 since I wrote this, however I don't think I'll write a review for episodes 2 and 3. See you on episode 4!
I've been out of town for the last week or so, and I came back with some new things!
I really love this necklace, it's from Claire's. I had my eye on it for a while, and I finally bought it, because buying things makes me feel good. It's kind of cheaply made though, so I'm constantly afraid that it'll break on me
I was planning to buy these shoes from bodyline, but then I saw these shoes from H&M, which were cheaper, super comfortable, and they have lots of cute details that didn't show up in the photo.
Lastly, this shirt. It was a hand-me-down from my grandma. It's way too big for me, but the sleeves were the perfect length, and the collar's really awesome. I can pretty much only wear it under JSKs though. Check out the collar

This weeks inspiration comes from Alice deco a la mode. It may not be the most recent inspiration ever, but it's an awesome look for this time of year, if you substitute that long sleeve shirt for something with shorter sleeves.
All of the pictures I finished last month!
As you can see, I didn't do many colored pieces this month. I spent most of the month wishing I had more markers, but twards the end of the month I bought a purple marker (see last picture) to restore my motivation for coloring pictures. I also did a lot of fanart this month, which isn't normal for me. My favorite pieces from July are the black/red Cinderella picture, and the ponponpon fanart, even though the ponponpon picture scares all of my friends.
