The other day I got tickets to an advance screening of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" which didn't go exactly as planned but it was still fun, this is what I wore. I really wish I still had my square necked blouse so I could cover my shoulders, but the collar would still stand out. I personally don't really like the ero lolita look
And here's the look with a cardigan, which I actually wore all night, because I just can't do the strapless dress thing, I am too weak.
This is an outfit I wore a couple days ago. Now that I look at it again, I don't really like this outfit and I don't know why it seemed like a good idea at the time. I guess I have this weird compulsion to co-ordinate everything as if it was a classic lolita dress, even if it's not.
Bag: Urban Outfitters
Bow: Handmade by a freind
I recently finished this awesome pear collar which I started in..... December. If you're wondering why I took so long, it's because I thought of all the ways I could'v gone about making this and then I chose THE STUPIDEST ONE. But who cares it's done now.
So I wore this outfit to go to the library, get lunch with a friend and, of course, get new glasses! I was trying to look cutesy and mature at the same time, I don't think that worked, but I still like this outfit. Also, I'm sorry my hair's a mess, these were end of day photos.
This outfit isn't really lolita it's more or less inspired by the style of Marina and the diamonds. She's a really good musician and she has a great sense of style. You should definitely check her out.
I tried to use a lot of pink in my makeup too.
Dress: innocent world
Earings: Forever 21
So the other day I actually went to the carnival again, because aparently I didn't waste enough money the first time. This is what I wore. I have a feeling that I've taken photos of this outfit before.
I recently bought some tights from here. I thought because it's a small etsy shop I'd do a review!
First some pictures of what I got!
Here they are on my legs
There are a lot of awesome things about these tights , but my favorite are the little ships!
The tights are thick, soft and very stretchy; the printing is very detailed and pretty too! The white printing does "crack" when stretched though. It isn't very noticeable, but that might be because I'm not stretching them all that much. I'm just glad they're not too thin though, that was what I was really afraid of. The communication and stuff with the girl who runs the shop went over fine. The pricing is about the same as brand socks so I guess if you're used to buying brand socks you won't think it's too bad but if not $25-30 might seem like a lot for leg wear!
Anyway, I really love these tights and I have JUST SO MANY cool outfits in mind for them. I would definitely reccomend this shop to people looking for cool tights.
So I recently purchased this JSK from Closet Child. I guess it looked knee-length in the photos closet child had, and when I looked it up on hello lace I didn't notice there were measurements for a long and short version of this JSK, so I just figured it was the short version. But it wasn't! It was the long version! This is both good and bad. It's bad because I had originally bought this dress to wear with these super cool patterned tights I just bought (which haven't arrived in the mail yet), and because I thought a cream/white JSK would be a good thing to have in my wardrobe, but with the length, they won't really work to show off my fancy tights! But it's also good, because the length is really pretty and elegant and now that I own it I can think of tons of great co-ord ideas for a long JSK!
Here's a close up on the details, and the back of the dress. These photos really don't do the back of the dress any justice at all!
Here it is on me. so you get a good idea of the dress's length.
So the other day, which was actually like 2 weeks ago. Innocent World was having a sale. I decided that I had to take advantage of this opportunity, so I bought the Grazia Crown bow. The main reason I bought this bow is because of the bow version of my dream dress, and I couldn't afford the actual dress. Anyway, I was very exited to receive it in the mail yesterday! I always heard that the brands sent their clothing in brand shopping bags, and yet I was still suprised when mine came in one. It's just so cute!
Here's the bow.
Here's a close up of the bow. I feel like one of the main reasons I like crown motifs is because my last name is King ^^
The lady from innocent world wrote me a little note too! It was a nice suprise, the stationary she used is so cute!
And lastly here's a picture of the bow on my head. It's really small and delicate!
