Outfit post: Wallflower

The other day I got tickets to an advance screening of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" which didn't go exactly as planned but it was still fun, this is what I wore. I really wish I still had my square necked blouse so I could cover my shoulders, but the collar would still stand out. I personally don't really like the ero lolita look

And here's the look with a cardigan, which I actually wore all night, because I just can't do the strapless dress thing, I am too weak.

Outfit Post: Co-ordinate like a classic lolita

This is an outfit I wore a couple days ago. Now that I look at it again, I don't really like this outfit and I don't know why it seemed like a good idea at the time. I guess I have this weird compulsion to co-ordinate everything as if it was a classic lolita dress, even if it's not.

The pearl collar from hell

I recently finished this awesome pear collar which I started in..... December. If you're wondering why I took so long, it's because I thought of all the ways I could'v gone about making this and then I chose THE STUPIDEST ONE. But who cares it's done now.

Outfit post: Fairy Kei Take two!

This is my second fairy kei attempt, and also possibly my last. I'm pretty sure my natural aversion to wearing more than like, 1 accessory is getting in the way of my fairy kei dreams.

Outfit Post, and new glasses!

So I wore this outfit to go to the library, get lunch with a friend and, of course, get new glasses! I was trying to look cutesy and mature at the same time, I don't think that worked, but I still like this outfit. Also, I'm sorry my hair's a mess, these were end of day photos.

Outfit post: Electra Heart

This outfit isn't really lolita it's more or less inspired by the style of Marina and the diamonds. She's a really good musician and she has a great sense of style. You should definitely check her out.

I tried to use a lot of pink in my makeup too.

Outfit Post: Innocent World

Innocent world is defiantly one of my favorite brands, in fact my last 3 brand purchases have all been from IW. So I decided to wear all of my innocent world at once!
And the back of the dress, in case you've never seen it. It's really pretty!

Steampunk Jewlery

So, the other day my friend called me and told me she found a bag of watch parts at a second hand shop and asked if I wanted to make jewelry with them. I said yes of course! Here's what I made.

First the ring, the wire I used to make the base of this ring was a watch part too!
This is a brooch, I love it so much!

Outfit Post: Minty Carnival

So the other day I actually went to the carnival again, because aparently I didn't waste enough money the first time. This is what I wore. I have a feeling that I've taken photos of this outfit before.

Outfit Post: Lavender Berries

An outfit that I wore a few days ago, I wanted to do a more classical take on this JSK.
And my hairstyle for the day! I see girls with short hair do this a lot, and I wanted to try it out on my long hair!

A few more pictures from yesterday.

Yesterday, when I was taking outfit shots I tried to take a jump shot but none of them really worked out. I have some EXTREMELY derpy photos of myself. But I also got these two, which I kind of like.

Also, I went to the carnival with my friends yesterday. I don't really like
carnival rides or games that much, but I still had a lot of fun.
I took a picture of the ferris wheel.
..... and the view from the ferris wheel! There were so many lights! The food stands look radioactive!

Outfit Post: Antique Pirate

This is what I'm wearing today. It's not really lolita, but I don't know what to call it. The dress is actually my mori dress but pinned up into a mini skirt.

Teja Jamila Tights Review

I recently bought some tights from here. I thought because it's a small etsy shop I'd do a review!
First some pictures of what I got!
Here they are on my legs
There are a lot of awesome things about these tights , but my favorite are the little ships!
The tights are thick, soft and very stretchy; the printing is very detailed and pretty too! The white printing does  "crack" when stretched though. It isn't very noticeable, but that might be because I'm not stretching them all that much.  I'm just glad they're not too thin though, that was what I was really afraid of. The communication and stuff with the girl who runs the shop went over fine. The pricing is about the same as brand socks so I guess if you're used to buying brand socks you won't think it's too bad but if not $25-30 might seem like a lot for leg wear!

Anyway, I really love these tights and I have JUST SO MANY cool outfits in mind for them. I would definitely reccomend this shop to people looking for cool tights.

Outfit Post

I had to try out my new JSK right away!
And the top of the outfit, because that's where the interesting's at.
I wore mint earings to match my mint blouse, I also wore a peach bracelet to match the peach rose headband, but I didn't get a good picture of it.

Innocent World JSK

So I recently purchased this JSK from Closet Child. I guess it looked knee-length in the photos closet child had, and when I looked it up on hello lace I didn't notice there were measurements for a long and short version of this JSK, so I just figured it was the short version. But it wasn't! It was the long version! This is both good and bad. It's bad because I had originally bought this dress to wear with these super cool patterned tights I just bought (which haven't arrived in the mail yet), and because I thought a cream/white JSK would be a good thing to have in my wardrobe, but with the length, they won't really work to show off my fancy tights! But it's also good, because the length is really pretty and elegant and now that I own it I can think of tons of great co-ord ideas for a long JSK!
Here's a close up on the details, and the back of the dress. These photos really don't do the back of the dress any justice at all!

Here it is on me. so you get a good idea of the dress's length.

Grazia Crown

So the other day, which was actually like 2 weeks ago. Innocent World was having a sale. I decided that I had to take advantage of this opportunity, so I bought the Grazia Crown bow. The main reason I bought this bow is because of the bow version of my dream dress, and I couldn't afford the actual dress. Anyway, I was very exited to receive it in the mail yesterday! I always heard that the brands sent their clothing in brand shopping bags, and yet I was still suprised when mine came in one. It's just so cute!
 Here's the bow.
Here's a close up of the bow. I feel like one of the main reasons I like crown motifs is because my last name is King ^^
The lady from innocent world wrote me a little note too! It was a nice suprise, the stationary she used is so cute!
And lastly here's a picture of the bow on my head. It's really small and delicate!
