This isn't the first time I've worn a Link-inspired outfit, nor will it by the last, but here's today's (or really Tuesday's because I'm lazy about bloging) iteration of my favorite nerdy character to incorporate into my outfits. None of which vaguely resemble his canon outfit of course.
In case you were wondered why I have worn not one, but multiple link outfits, it's because of this pocket watch. Which might just be the best thing I own.
Another good thing about this outfit, is that it actually matches my school bag. It's the only bag I have big enough to fit all my school stuff so I wear it every day, even though it looks kind of awkward with my angelic pretty...
On Wednesday I decided to make another pirate inspired outfit. For talk like a pirate day :D I forgot to talk like a pirate, but I did dress like a (ott lolita) pirate. I have to say, although I love how it looks in the mirror and in picures I really can't get into OTT hair. OTT just isn't my thing. I get intimidated by wearing more than two accessories in my hair.
And lastly a picture of my fabulous hat! I love this hat so much, one of my good friends made it for me, I
Dress: Handmade by me
Hat: handmade by a friend
Hairbows: hot topic
Socks: sock dreams
Here's my outfit of the day. I ended up liking it a lot more than I thought would so I tried to take nice pictures of it. My plain white tights were in the laundry so I wore my ones with little hearts on them!
and my pin.
My socks and shoes, hey look you can almost actually see the little hearts!
I have a slight confession, I often wear this skirt without a petticoat, when I want a more otome feel or I'm just staying at home because I think it looks pretty that way. But seeing these pictures reminds me of how pretty this skirt is with a petti.
Today I wore my cinema doll skirt for the first time! I was really worried that I'd spill something on it. I was extra careful not to spill anything, but I ended up getting, not just one, but 3 stains! I was afraid that the print would run, and I would have to dry clean it, but I'm too broke to pay a dry cleaning bill so I just washed it with water anyway and it didn't run, and all the stains came out! I'm so lucky.
I recently got my cinema doll skirt. I was so exited to get this because it is one of my dream prints! Also it's my first brand item that wasn't second hand or on sale or anything. Man, it killed my wallet, but it was way worth it! Here's the skirt.
Here's a detail shot that isn't very good, but it's the only one that's not blurry.
Angelic pretty included a bag in my package. I'm sure this will come in very useful if I have to bring food to a prarty or a change of clothes to school, or anything else I would otherwise put in a grocery store bag.
They also included this! It's actually a little manicure set. Honestly I'm way more exited than I should be to get an angelic pretty manicure set. I just love it when brands make novelty items! AND I GOT IT FOR FREE! It was legendary.
OK, this is going to be a double shopping post. First I'm going to do the bodyline half. This is actually the first time I've ordered from bodyline without ordering anything from the lolita section. Here's the vest I ordered, it's from the punk section, and I actually need it for cosplay, but I really like it so I'm going to wear it for everyday outfits too!
And here's the brooch I bought. I don't need this for cosplay, I just bought it because it's cute and cheap!
here's how they look on me, it's not a very flattering picture. Also the vest doesn't exactly match my pajamas
Lastly, here's my BB cream! It came in the mail today. I'm not sure how much I like it yet.
So recently I bought some cutsews from DreamV. If you've never heard of it before, DreamV is a gyaru store that has an impressive number of cute cutsews! Here's a link to their online store. Here's the cream cutsew. I'm putting it first because I like it the best. It's super comfy and it fits well. I really like the design too!
I was really worried that the lace would be low quality, but it's actually really nice!
There's bows on the sleeves too!
Here's the Pink cutsew. I wasn't so happy with this one. It's comfy and the lace on the collar is nice, but it doesn't fit me that well, and the lace on the sleeves isn't pretty at all. I don't like the shape of the sleeves that much either so I might take off the lace and shorten the sleeves, it wouldn't be that hard.
DreamV's Review Scores
Items: 7/10 I think DreamV is kind of hit or miss on quality.
Communication: 5/10 they only speak Japanese, and I don't speak Japanese at all! But luckily there wasn't much communication to do.
Overall: 7/10 I'll probably buy from DreamV again, and I would recommend it to people, but I would avoid stuff with a lot of lace on it. Also they included a paper full of diet tips in their package which I found rather.... confusing to say the least.
